Assignment (1.6) Writing A Business Plan – Part 1
Business Plan Template
If you haven't already than you'll want to download the SCORE Business Plan Template here. Your instructor will be reviewing your business plan several times throughout the course.
`
Whether you're printing it out and writing it by hand, or simply typing into the document you'll want to keep it somewhere you won't lose it.
In this assignment you’ll be creating a business plan. SCORE (Service Corps for Retired Executive) and the Small Business Association (SBA) are excellent resources to help get you started. You’ll want to have an idea for your business ready. If you’re not sure what you want to do then think about your passions – the stuff you would do if money wasn’t a thing. Maybe you’d own a restaurant, a bike shop, or even a yoga studio. After you’re done with this assignment you’ll have filled in the Executive Summary, Company Description Worksheet, and Service or Product Line Worksheet.
This template IS actually a real Business Plan. You can use it in the future for whatever venture you might be pursuing – even the mock business you’re building right now.
